Planned Improvements

Bigelow Boulevard / North Oakland

PWSA s lining a 30-inch Sewer on Bigelow Boulevard from Parkman Avenue to Ruskin Avenue in North Oakland.

Highland #2 Reservoir

PWSA is mobilizing at the Highland #2 Reservoir in Highland Park to install piping for the new emergency pumping system.  The new emergency pumps will allow the Authority to send water from Highland #2 to Highland #1 allowing isolation for maintenance.  PWSA does not anticipate this work having any impact on Highland Park residents. Weather permitting, this project is expected to be completed by the end of January 2013.

Murray Avenue / Squirrel Hill

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is replacing a 6-inch water main with an 8-inch water main in Forbes Avenue in Squirrel Hill.

State Route 28

PWSA is relocating a 24-inch water main and a 36-inch sewer in conjunction with the widening of State Route 28.
