Pittsburgh, PA - The Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority’s (PWSA) Director of Engineering and Construction, Robert Christian, received the award for 2014 Government Civil Engineer of the Year by the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Pittsburgh Section.
The Government Engineers Division of ASCE established this award to recognize distinguished civil engineers for significant engineering contributions as practitioners employed in public service. Winners for this award are chosen for their contributions in civil engineering in the public sector.
“We are proud to have Bob Christian as an essential part of the PWSA staff. This award is a testament to his dedication and commitment to sustainable infrastructure for the city of Pittsburgh and our customers,” said PWSA Interim Executive Director Jim Good.
ASCE Pittsburgh Section Awards will be presented on February 21, 2015, as part of the Engineers’ Week celebration.
