Public Input Hearings Regarding PWSA's Proposed Rate Increase

The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (PUC) has scheduled six telephonic public input hearings to gather information from ratepayers regarding the proposed rate increase request filed by PWSA.

The PUC is the state agency that is investigating the proposed rate request and will make the final determination as to what increase if any, is just and reasonable.

The public input hearings will be held telephonically at 1:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 7, 2020, Wednesday, July 8, 2020, and Thursday, July 9, 2020.

Advanced Registration
Those wishing to speak or participate in the public hearings are asked to register in advance using one of the following options. 

  • Contact the Office of Consumer Advocate (OCA) at 1-800-684-6560 no later than 1:00 p.m. on Monday, July 6, 2020. The OCA will complete the registration form on your behalf and provide additional information about the meeting. 
  • Click on the PWSA event link provided below, choose the public input hearing, and complete the registration form. The OCA will provide additional information via email. 

If you wish to only listen to the public hearings, you may contact OCA to obtain the call-in information by 1:00 p.m. on Monday, July 6, 2020, or you may use the registration link below to join a public input hearing.
