Mayor Ed Gainey's a new initiative to bring government to the people has been a big success! Representatives from every city department and select authorities met residents in a block party setting at different locations around the city.

Each event included free food, community vendors, activities for kids, and city utilities and departments departments tabling to provide resources, information about their work, and intake on-site requests for service.
