Water Wise: Join our Save Water, Save Money Workshop!

Mark your calendars for another fun and informative stormwater workshop this spring.

Do you ever wonder how rain gardens, rain barrels, your garden, and other solutions can reduce stormwater runoff on your property, protect the environment, and save you money on your bill?

We have a workshop for you! Join Pittsburgh Water and Penn State’s Master Watershed Stewards and Master Gardeners on March 26 at the Kingsley Association for another installment of our popular Save Water, Save Money Stormwater Workshop.

Attendees will learn about:

  • Stormwater interventions you can arrange at home: rain barrels, rain gardens, and planting native plants.
  • Our local watershed, why mindful gardening matters, and stormwater infiltration and runoff.
  • Pittsburgh Water’s stormwater credit program, our rain barrel credit program, and other solutions that can help lower your stormwater fee.
  • Available Customer Assistance Programs and the opportunity to enroll on-the-spot.

A light meal will be provided. Learn more and register here.
