Braywood Way Stormwater Improvements Project

In partnership with the City of Pittsburgh, we are planning a stormwater and roadway improvements project to address flooding issues at Braywood Way in the Greenfield and Hazelwood neighborhoods.

This project - part of the Water Reliability Plan - will construct a new pumping station that will maintain water pressure throughout our water service area for decades to come.

Stormwater

Four Mile Run Stormwater Project

The Four Mile Run Watershed encompasses Schenley Park and several Pittsburgh neighborhoods including Greefield, Hazelwood, Oakland, and Squirrel Hill. After a lengthy review process with State regulators, PWSA will pursue the design of a stormwater only pipeline in The Run neighborhood, located in the basin of the watershed. This project will help to reduce basement backups and neighborhood flooding that many residents in The Run have experienced.

PWSA will work in portions of The Bluff to replace all lead service lines found with a non-lead material.
