Woods Run Stormwater Project: Phase One
Riverview Park is a city park located in the Perry North neighborhood. This project will use green stormwater infrastructure and tree plantings in the park to capture rainwater runoff.
Phillips Park Stormwater Project
Phillips Park is a city-owned park located in Pittsburgh’s Carrick neighborhood. This stormwater project will help to reduce flooding and basement backups along Yale Drive, Queenstown Street, Lucina Avenue, and Walton Avenue.
Lanpher Rising Main Project
This project will build a new transmission water line, connecting the Water Treatment Plant and the Lanpher Reservoir, located in Shaler Township. The new line will create a backup water feed for the existing Lanpher Rising Main, which is nearly 100 years old. This multi-million dollar, two-year project will ensure reliable water service for one-third of Pittsburgh’s population who live and work in the Northside.
