WHAT: Overnight road closures at Liberty Avenue and 33rd Street in the Strip District related to ongoing infrastructure work.
WHERE: Closure limits are at the intersection of Liberty Avenue and 33rd Street.
WHEN:
- Wednesday 2/25/26 and Thursday 2/26/26 nights from 8:00 P.M. to 6:00 A.M.
- Additional overnight work beginning Sunday, 3/1/26, through Thursday, 3/13/26, from 8:00 P.M. to 6:00 A.M.
DETAILS:
The existing detour route, which has been in place for several weeks, will remain in effect. The primary update is the addition of weekend overnight work, recently approved by the City of Pittsburgh Department of Mobility and Infrastructure.
Motorists should seek alternate routes and expect overnight traffic impacts in the area.
