Government Affairs Manager

The Government Affairs Manager is responsible for coordinating, strategizing and managing the Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority’s governmental and legislative affairs activities. This includes building, maintaining and advancing relationships with elected officials, governmental agencies and authorities, and regional municipalities. This position will report directly to the Senior Manager of Public Affairs, with frequent coordination with other internal departments such as Engineering, Legal, and Finance. Extensive contacts both within and outside of the PWSA are required to perform the responsibilities of the position. Occasional overnight travel to Harrisburg, PA and Washington, D.C. will be required.

Project Systems Specialist

The Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority is seeking a candidate for the position of Project Systems Specialist. They will be responsible for assisting with maintaining Engineering and Construction Department’s project management information system (e-Builder), process modifications and implementation, project reporting, and supporting Engineering and Construction Department business needs.

This individual, under the supervision of the Senior Manager of Project Controls, will work closely with our internal staff and external vendors to deliver, maintain, and troubleshoot systems functionality through user feedback and knowledge of project management systems and practices.

Senior Health & Safety Manager

Superintendent of Sewers

Electrician

This position requires considerable detailed technical skill and expertise in the completion of tasks and ensures that the components of the PWSA’s different process controls are operational. This position typically services the electronic components of monitoring and some of the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition system (SCADA), as well as the initial troubleshooting of equipment and services, electrical transmission lines, circuitry, and motors.
