Project Manager, Construction

Over the next five years, The Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority’s Engineering & Construction team will be responsible for managing an aggressive capital improvement program valued in excess of $1.2 billion, designed to sustain cost-effective operations and optimize system reliability. The PWSA is seeking a candidate for the position of Project Manager, Construction. They will be initially focused on managing the construction and urgent repair of water and sewer infrastructure. They will supervise and direct the work of assigned professional, technical, and clerical employees in the management of the construction of complex, multi-disciplined PWSA Capital and Operating projects.

Inspector III, Stormwater

The Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority is seeking a candidate for the position of Inspector III, Stormwater. The candidate will play an important role in helping to meet water quality goals in the City of Pittsburgh by providing oversight to the PWSA’s Green Infrastructure Maintenance, CCTV, and sewer cleaning contractors. They will also perform erosion and sediment control site inspections and manage illicit discharge investigations. The responsibilities of this role are a combination of field and office work.
