This project, in the Shadyside neighborhood of the City of Pittsburgh, will replace the water main on Walnut Street, between Bellefonte Street and South Aiken Avenue, providing more reliable water service to our customers. This work was planned for the 2021 construction season and has been prioritized due to upcoming street lighting work planned by the City of Pittsburgh Department of Mobility and Infrastructure (DOMI).
Progress & Status
All restoration is complete. Any portions of the project that were left as temporary restoration will be completed as part of the City of Pittsburgh Department of Mobility and Infrastructure lighting upgrade on Walnut Street

Start Date: February 15, 2021
Completion Date: March 31, 2021
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday from 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Traffic Patterns: One-block segments of street will be closed to local traffic during working hours and will be plated and re-opened at the end of the work day.
