PWSA is hosting a virtual information session on May 8th, 2024 to provide details about two upcoming engineering design projects at the Aspinwall Water Treatment Plant. The contracts are anticipated to go to bid in late Q2/early Q3.

The Raw Water Intake project will include condition assessment, renewing or replacing the existing West and East Raw Water Intake Gate House structures and associated systems, including gates, screens, chemical feed systems associated mechanical equipment, and the addition of SCADA. Select Facilities, including Influent piping, within the Ross Pump Station will also be addressed.

The Sedimentation Basin Rehabilitation project will consist of a Conceptual Study evaluating the overall sedimentation basin design, including but not limited to capacity and redundancy; evaluating using the remaining available space for new front-end water treatment plant processes (i.e., chemical storage and feed systems, clarifiers, etc.); and other miscellaneous considerations including but not limited to stormwater evaluations, site access, materials and structural assessment of the existing admin building, piping modifications, and bathymetric survey.

Please register on our website by Friday, May 3rd, 2024. A virtual Microsoft Teams Meeting invitation will be emailed to all registrants.
