This project, in the Hazelwood neighborhood of the City of Pittsburgh, will replace portions of water mains on several streets, providing more reliable water service to our customers.
Progress & Status
On Thursday, November 12, the PWSA project team hosted a community meeting to inform residents of the project and answer any questions they may have. You can watch a recording of the meeting here.

Crews will replace water mains on the following streets:
- Tecumseh Street - ACTIVE
- (Blair Street - Langhorn Street) - Water main is being tested
- (Blair Street - Gloster Street) - Service lines are being installed
- Langhorn Street - ACTIVE
- Water main is being tested
- Courtland Street - ACTIVE
- (Langhorn Street - Blair Street) - water main is being tested
- Blair Street - ACTIVE
- Water main is being installed
- Gloster Street - ACTIVE
- Water main is being installed
- West Elizabeth Street - ACTIVE
- Water main is being installed

Location Details:
Hazelwood neighborhood
Start Date: December 1, 2020
Completion Date: Spring 2020
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday from 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Traffic Patterns: Streets will be closed to local traffic during working hours and will be plated and re-opened at the end of the work day.
