This project, in the Homewood neighborhood of the City of Pittsburgh, will replace portions of water mains on several streets, providing more reliable water service to our customers.

Water main replacements will take place on the following streets: 

  • Upland Street - ACTIVE
    • Water main is being constructed
  • Oberlein Street - ACTIVE
    • Street is being restored
  • Upland Street - ACTIVE
    • (N. Lang Avenue - Saxon Street) - Service lines are being installed
    • (N. Lang Avenue - N. Homewood Avenue) - Water main is being constructed
  • Mingo Street - ACTIVE
    • Street is being restored
  • Vann Road - ACTIVE
    • Street is being restored
  • Tilden Street - ACTIVE
    • Street is being restored
  • Lemmington Avenue - ACTIVE
    • Service lines are being installed
  • Mount Vernon Street - ACTIVE
    • Water main is being constructed 
  • Odessa Place - ACTIVE
    • Street is being restored
  • North Lang Avenue - ACTIVE
    • Water main is being constructed
  • North Homewood Avenue - ACTIVE

Start Date: June 2020

Completion Date: Winter 2020

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday from 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Traffic Patterns: The street will be closed to local traffic during working hours and will be plated and re-opened at the end of the work day.
