This project, in the Point Breeze neighborhood of the City of Pittsburgh, will will replace portions of water mains on several streets, providing more reliable water service to our customers.
Progress & Status
Crews will restore street and sidewalks in Summer 2023.
PWSA's project team presented to residents on this project on April 7th. You can view the presentation here.
Crews are completing work on the following streets:
- Thomas Boulevard (N. Lang Avenue - N. Lexington Street): minor punch-list items remain, substantially complete
- Meade Place (N. Murtland Street - midway to N. Homewood Avenue): the construction team has had multiple, on-site planning meetings to finalize plans for reconstructing the private roadway. Final street restoration is anticipated to begin July 6th.
- Meade Street (N. Murtland Street - 7139 Meade Street): minor punch-list items remain, substantially complete

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday from 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Traffic Patterns: Streets will be closed to traffic during working hours and will be reopened at the end of a work day.
