This project is located in the Highland Park neighborhood within the City of Pittsburgh, in the vicinity of the Washington Boulevard, Allegheny River Boulevard, One Wild Place and surrounding areas including the Pittsburgh Zoo. Crews will rehabilitate and replace transmission water mains connecting the Bruecken Pump Station and covered Highland Reservoir No. 2. Making any repairs to these pipes will ensure there is reliable water service to many of our customers.
Progress & Status
Trenching is complete and remote lining work is nearing completing within wooded area, crews will removing fencing around staging area at One Wild Place in mid-November.
