This project is one of several stormwater improvement projects in Saw Mill Run. It focuses on restoring two sites within the stream in the Overbrook Neighborhood.

This project is part of the larger Saw Mill Run Integrated Watershed Management Plan and will help to reduce sediment and improve water quality in the stream. 

The restoration project will: 

  • Restore heavily eroded streambanks and stabilize streambank slope
  • Use natural channel design techniques that provide environmental benefits
  • Repair storm sewer outlets that discharge directly to the stream

Locations & Schedule

Location Details:
Stream Site 1: Between Nobles Lane and Ansonia Place. Stream Site 2: Near Maytide Street behind the Accamando Center.

Start Date: January 6, 2020

Completion Date: Summer 2020

Work Schedule: Active construction Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Traffic Patterns: Minimal traffic disruptions.
