STATEMENT REGARDING EAST PALESTINE TRAIN DERAILMENT

The watershed around East Palestine conveys water through various small streams and rivers into the Ohio River over 30 river miles downstream from our intakes on the Allegheny River. As the source of potential water contamination is far downstream from our intakes, there is no direct water quality impact from the East Palestine train derailment to our water supply on the Allegheny River.
