PWSA began construction on Phase II in late summer 2023. Crews will work in four mini-phases, stretching approximately one block at a time, installing new sewer pipe and connecting residents' sewer laterals to the new wastewater-only sewer. Work will take place in the following order, date frames are approximate and subject to change.

• PHASE 1 (Queenston, from Fairland Street - Walton Avenue): mid August - early October
• PHASE 2 (Queenston, from Walton Avenue - Lucina Avenue): early - mid October
• PHASE 3 (Lucina, from Queenston Street - Englert Way, a paper street): mid October - mid November
• PHASE 4 (Walton Avenue, Englert Way, Wayside Street): mid November - spring 2024, with some slow-down during winter months.

Work is currently in Phase 4 - Crews are currently adding fill around the newly installed sewer main, all sewer lateral connections have been made. All work areas are in temporary restoration until weather improves in the spring.

• Separate wastewater (sanitary sewage) from stormwater in 825 feet of existing combined sewer pipes. 
• Install new sanitary sewer pipes to convey only wastewater.
• Convert existing combined sewer pipes into dedicated storm sewer pipes to create more room for stormwater.
• Decommission certain existing sanitary and storm sewer pipes.
• Possible installation of sanitary and storm sewer pipes to connect buildings to respective sewers (field and engineering investigation pending).
