This project, in the Squirrel Hill North neighborhood of the City of Pittsburgh, will replace three water mains on several streets, providing more reliable water service to our customers.
Progress & Status
Crews will begin in June by inspecting all service lines within the project area to determine where lead service lines are located. Crews will then begin install new water main on the following streets, in approximately this order:
- Northumberland Street
- Bennington Avenue
- Iverness Avenue
- Fair Oaks/Malvern Street
- Squirrel Hill Avenue
- Albermarle Avenue
- Plainfield Street
- Woodmont Street
- Murdoch Road/Maynard Street
- Beeler Street
- Wilkins Avenue
- Beelermont Place
- Aylesboro Avenue
- Tech Street

Traffic Patterns: Street closures and detours will be in place as needed.
